Kyler Gordon absence becoming concern for Bears
Concern over Chicago Bears cornerback Kyler Gordon’s continued absence from training camp may be reaching a new level. “This Kyler Gordon situation has veered into Nate Davis territory,” ALLCHGO’s Adam Hoge said on The Score. “There were valid reasons why he wasn’t on the field, and then it eventually just got to the point where everybody is a little fed up the guy’s not out there. That’s the vibe you get in the building.” That’s a notable comparison considering how quickly the Bears’ patience with Davis deteriorated before his eventual departure. Gordon has been sidelined with a soft-tissue injury, and the Bears have yet to provide a firm timetable for his return. After Gordon appeared in only three games during an injury-plagued 2025 season, his inability to get on the field this summer is becoming one of Chicago’s biggest concerns, especially with Coby Bryant already expected to miss four to six months following knee surgery.
