Refund Policy

BearsTalk LLC ("BearsTalk", "we", "us") offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on BearsTalk+. If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order date.

What This Covers

This policy covers the BearsTalk+ annual subscription ($18 USD per year), which unlocks BearsTalk Analytics and any BearsTalk story designated BearsTalk+. Reading BearsTalk is free and requires no purchase.

How to Request a Refund

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all of our orders. Paddle handles refund requests and billing support.

  • Visit paddle.net and enter the email address used for your purchase to find your order and request a refund, or
  • Contact us through our contact page and we will help you get it sorted.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer, and are typically a few business days.

Renewals and Cancellation

BearsTalk+ renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the "Manage subscription" link on your BearsTalk+ page, which opens the secure subscription portal provided by Paddle. When you cancel, your Premium access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for — you are not cut off early.

If a renewal charge was unexpected, contact us or Paddle within 30 days of that charge and we will make it right.

7-Day Free Trial

When BearsTalk+ offers a 7-day free trial, you add a payment method at checkout but are not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is charged $18 USD (plus any applicable sales tax) on the date shown at checkout and in your confirmation email, and BearsTalk+ then renews each year until you cancel. Cancel any time during the trial from "Manage subscription" and you will not be charged. One free trial per member.

If your trial converts to a paid annual subscription, the 30-day money-back guarantee above applies to that first annual charge, counted from the date of the charge, subject to the terms of this policy. Nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund, during the trial itself.
