Welcome to BearsTalk. By accessing or using bearstalk.com (the "Site"), operated by BearsTalk LLC ("BearsTalk", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its normal operation, attempt to access it through unauthorized means, scrape content at scale without permission, or use it to violate any law.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

User Content

If you post comments, forum posts, or other content, you retain ownership but grant BearsTalk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the Site. You are responsible for what you post and must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or otherwise objectionable. We may remove content at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

All articles, graphics, logos, and other materials on the Site are owned by BearsTalk or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content without written permission, except for brief quotations with attribution and a link back to the original article.

Third-Party Content and Affiliation

BearsTalk is an independent publication and is not affiliated with the Chicago Bears, the NFL, or any of its teams. Team names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. The Site may contain links to third-party websites; we are not responsible for their content.

BearsTalk+ Subscriptions

BearsTalk+ is an optional paid subscription that unlocks BearsTalk Analytics and any BearsTalk story designated BearsTalk+. It costs $18 USD per year and renews automatically each year until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from the "Manage subscription" link on your BearsTalk+ page; your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. Reading BearsTalk remains free.

Free Trials. BearsTalk may offer different types of free trials depending on the product or service.

BearsTalk Analytics Trials: Any complimentary Analytics trial offered without a payment method does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. Access expires according to the terms of that trial unless the user separately purchases a subscription.

BearsTalk+ Subscription Trials: When available, BearsTalk+ may offer a promotional subscription trial that requires a valid payment method and automatically converts into a paid annual subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. The trial duration, subscription price, first billing date, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be disclosed before enrollment.

A BearsTalk+ subscription trial is available only when expressly offered during checkout. The existence of these terms does not mean a subscription trial is currently available.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our 30-day money-back guarantee.

Free trial. When offered, new members may start a 7-day free trial of BearsTalk+. A payment method is required. You will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, your payment method is automatically charged $18 USD per year (plus any applicable sales tax), starting on the date shown at checkout and in your confirmation email, and the subscription renews each year until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from "Manage subscription". We email you a reminder before the first charge. One free trial per member; BearsTalk may decline or end a trial that does not meet these terms, without charge. If your trial converts, the 30-day money-back guarantee in our Refund Policy applies to the first annual charge.

We may suspend or terminate access to paid features for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or suspected fraud or security risk.

Advertising

The Site displays advertising, including through Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy for details on how advertising cookies are used.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BearsTalk will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
