Luther Burden shines on Day 1 of Bears training camp
Chicago Bears second-year wide receiver Luther Burden was a busy guy on Day 1 of Chicago Bears training camp. According to multiple first-hand accounts, Burden was targeted at a high rate throughout the day. ALLCHGO's Mark Carman tweeted that Burden "got a ton of balls. Inside, outside." It's no surprise that Burden was a focal point in the first practice following an offseason in which he's been praised by both head coach Ben Johnson and GM Ryan Poles. Caleb Williams added to that praise today, saying Burden "makes the first guy miss every time. That's his trait. He catches everything. He's a friendly receiver to the QB."
