Jaylon Johnson says Caleb Williams is best QB he's played with
Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson offered perhaps the strongest endorsement yet of Caleb Williams' development, calling the third-year quarterback the best passer he's faced as a teammate. Johnson, who has practiced against quarterbacks ranging from Justin Fields to veteran Nick Foles during his career in Chicago, said Williams has elevated the offense with his confidence and precision. "Caleb's the best quarterback I've had, again, since I feel like maybe Nick Foles, if you want to go back that far," Johnson said. "Just as far as slinging it, I feel like he's definitely doing his thing. You can see the accuracy, you can see the confidence. Throwing the ball in tight windows is something that's stood out to me." Johnson added that the Bears' offense has become a much tougher challenge for the defense because of the confidence throughout the unit.
