Dillon Thieneman admits to early nerves at Bears practice
Chicago Bears rookie safety Dillon Thieneman admitted there are still some nerves that come with adjusting to life in the NFL, particularly when practice gets underway. "It can at practice, especially during the first rep you get a little nervous," Thieneman said. "I'd like to say I'm more excited than nervous. Once you get warmed up, you get more comfortable and excited."Thieneman has been thrown into an important role early in training camp, and those first-rep jitters are understandable for a rookie learning the demands of an NFL defense. The encouraging part is how quickly he's settling in once practice gets rolling, especially with Chicago needing its young defensive backs to step up amid injuries in the secondary.
