Rome Odunze makes it clear he sees himself as Bears' WR1
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze isn't shying away from WR1 expectations entering the 2026 season. "I obviously see myself as WR1, and I want the ball every single play," Odunze said. "It's that duality of I got that dog in me, and I want to go and make plays. I know everybody is going to get their share, and it's going to be exciting." Odunze also acknowledged that Chicago's other receivers carry the same mentality, which should create healthy competition in a talented passing attack. With D.J. Moore no longer in Chicago, Odunze has an opportunity to establish himself as Caleb Williams' top wide receiver while Luther Burden III pushes for a much larger role in Year 2.
