Jaylon Johnson lands at No. 14 in PFF's cornerback rankings

Chicago Bears CB Jaylon Johnson was ranked the NFL's No. 14 cornerback by Pro Football Focus entering the 2026 season. Johnson played only nine games, including the playoffs, due to injuries in 2025 and earned a 60.3 PFF coverage grade, his lowest since 2021. PFF views Johnson as a strong bounce-back candidate after he graded as the NFL's top cornerback in 2023 and followed it with another strong season in 2024. A healthy Johnson returning to his previous form would be a significant boost for a Bears secondary already dealing with injuries during training camp.
