Coby Bryant sends heartfelt message to Bears fans after injury
Chicago Bears safety Coby Bryant took to social media Tuesday to thank fans for the outpouring of support following the knee injury he suffered during Monday’s training camp practice. Bryant remained optimistic despite the setback, writing, “Thank you for all the prayers & love! God makes no mistakes & I’ll be back stronger. Can’t wait to be back out there with my brothers & have a great season! Much love.” Bryant’s message comes after he was carted off the practice field with what was later diagnosed as a hyperextended knee, a bone bruise, and a small fracture. The Bears expect Bryant to miss significant time, but surgery is not anticipated. Bryant is a critical piece of Chicago’s secondary after joining the team this offseason, and his positive outlook should provide encouragement to teammates and fans as he begins his recovery.
