Thuney ranked low again, facing new level of disrespect

Joe Thuney, a guard for the Chicago Bears, was ranked fifth among interior offensive linemen in a recent survey of NFL executives, scouts, and coaches. Last season, Thuney was named the Protector of the Year, a Pro Bowler, and a first-team All-Pro, allowing zero sacks in 686 pass-blocking snaps. An NFC executive noted Thuney's technical soundness and strength despite some loss of lateral quickness.
