Jaguars closer to understanding 2024 Bears' draft blunder

Shane Waldron, formerly the Chicago Bears offensive coordinator, has been promoted to assistant head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Waldron was fired by the Bears nine games into the 2024 season when the team's offense ranked 30th in yards per game and 24th in scoring. Following Waldron's departure, the Bears hired Ben Johnson as head coach and Declan Doyle as offensive coordinator, leading to a top-10 offense and a playoff appearance in 2025.
