Caleb Williams' "Iceman" trademark request denied by USPTO

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has refused Caleb Williams' request to trademark the nickname "Iceman." This decision was not due to any objection from NBA Hall of Famer George Gervin. Instead, the USPTO cited a potential for confusion with a trademark for "The Iceman" that was filed by LaCrosse Footwear in 1988.
