Garrett Bradbury explains why D'Andre Swift could thrive for Bears

Chicago Bears center Garrett Bradbury believes D'Andre Swift has everything needed to thrive behind the team's offensive line in 2026. "He loves football," Bradbury said. "He's always firing the boys up front, and there's a tenacity with which he plays football, and I like his style. I think he can do it all." Bradbury believes the key is simply creating enough space for Swift to use his explosiveness. "All he needs is a crease," Bradbury said. "Get that first level and second level handled, and he's off and running." That was evident during Wednesday's practice, when Swift broke several productive runs, including a 62-yard touchdown during a move-the-ball period. Bradbury acknowledged that evaluating the running game can be difficult during training camp when tackling isn't always live, but said the Bears had "a few today bust," offering an encouraging glimpse of what Swift could do behind Chicago's offensive line this season.
