Kiran Amegadjie expected to start at left tackle in Bears preseason opener

Chicago Bears offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie is expected to start at left tackle in Saturday's preseason opener against the Browns, according to the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs. Amegadjie and veteran Jedrick Wills Jr. are expected to receive close to an even number of snaps as the Bears continue evaluating their options at one of the roster's biggest position battles. Offensive line coach Dan Roushar said Amegadjie and Wills have performed relatively evenly to this point, and the coaching staff wants more reps before making any conclusions. Saturday's game will give both tackles an important opportunity to separate themselves in live action as Chicago searches for clarity at left tackle. Braxton Jones is expected to return to practice next week.
