The Chicago Bears could be getting their franchise quarterback back just in time for Week 6.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, all signs point toward Caleb Williams returning against the Atlanta Falcons after missing Chicago's last three games with a hamstring injury.
Williams hasn't played since suffering the injury against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.
His potential return would provide a much-needed boost to a Bears offense coming off an ugly 31-7 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Chicago struggled to move the football at Lambeau Field, with Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum combining for three interceptions. The Bears committed five turnovers overall and scored just seven points.
Williams returned to limited practice last week but wasn't ready to take the field against Green Bay. Rapoport's latest report suggests the Bears are now trending toward having their starting quarterback available for the trip to Atlanta.

Williams has not officially been cleared to play Week 6. His practice participation and injury designation throughout the week will determine whether his anticipated return becomes official.
Chicago enters the Falcons matchup at 3-2 after Sunday's loss snapped its two-game winning streak.
Getting Williams back would be a huge development for a Bears team looking to rebound from its worst offensive performance of the season.
For now, the outlook is encouraging. The next step is seeing Williams return to full practice participation ahead of Sunday's game.
