There won't be any quarterback mystery surrounding the Chicago Bears this week, as Ben Johnson confirmed Monday that Tyson Bagent will start against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5, making the announcement during his weekly appearance on ESPN 1000.
"Tyson will be the guy," Johnson said. "We'll go from there. We're in good shape."
The decision also means the Bears will go at least one more week without Caleb Williams, who continues to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.
Unlike last week, Johnson isn't interested in keeping his opponent guessing.

Tyson Bagent gets another shot after Bears beat Jets
Bagent handled all of Chicago's quarterback duties in Sunday's 23-12 victory over the New York Jets, although Case Keenum technically started after taking the game's first offensive snap.
Bagent completed 25 of 34 passes for 268 yards with one interception, helping the Bears pile up 492 total yards and improve to 3-1.
It wasn't a spectacular performance, and Bagent had a few throws he'll want back. But he operated Johnson's offense efficiently enough while Chicago leaned heavily on Kyle Monangai and its dominant rushing attack.
Now Bagent gets a considerably different assignment.
He'll head to Lambeau Field to start one of the NFL's biggest rivalry games with the Bears sitting at 3-1 and the Packers at 2-2. The Bears have already shown they can survive Williams' absence, as Case Keenum led Chicago past Philadelphia in Week 3 before Bagent took over against New York.
Week 5 raises the stakes.
A victory would move Chicago to 4-1, give the Bears their first NFC North win of the season, and put them two games ahead of the Green Bay Packers through five weeks.
And this time, everyone already knows who Johnson's quarterback will be.
