
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams played the entire first half of Week 2's preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and despite a slow start for the Bears offense, Williams ended his day leading Chicago to 10 points and a handful of remarkable plays.
For the second week in a row, Williams showcased the traits that made him the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He flashed elite ball placement on downfield throws and proved once again that he can control the pocket like a 10-year All-Pro. It was a truly remarkable display of panic-free football for Williams, who appears locked and loaded to lead the Chicago Bears offense to a highly productive passing season.

Caleb Williams did eventually hit paydirt, but he did it with his legs, which is an under-discussed part of his game and should make him an incredibly lethal dual threat in 2024:
Williams completed 6-of-13 passes for 75 yards and added seven rushing yards on his touchdown run.
It's impossible not to fall deeper into love with what No. 18 has put on tape through two preseason contests.
