The Chicago Bears returned to the field for their fifth training camp practice on Thursday afternoon. Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams enjoyed yet another fruitful performance during the first 7-on-7 period, according to Nicholas Moreano. Williams hit Keenan Allen to spearhead an impressive scoring drive that ended with Velus Jones Jr. defeating Jaylon Johnson in coverage for a touchdown in the back left corner of the end zone.
Here are some quick videos from Thursday's practice, as shared by media members in attendance.
Bears free-agent addition D'Andre Swift also caught a touchdown on a corner route during the 7-on-7 period. In other news, the Bears haven't decided if Williams will play in the upcoming Hall of Fame preseason opener versus the Houston Texans on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Hopefully Williams plays, because these practice highlights has everyone in the fan-base anxious to see him in action.
