Bears cut veteran defensive lineman, sign rookie linebacker

The Chicago Bears announced several roster transactions on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Linebacker T.J. Edwards was placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury list. Additionally, Keyshaun Elliott, Kyler Gordon, Noah Sewell, Ozzy Trapilo, and Shemar Turner were all placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.
