The Chicago Bears have an opportunity to make a statement Thursday night. Not because beating the New England Patriots would suddenly make them Super Bowl contenders, but because Caleb Williams beating Drake Maye in front of a national audience would confirm what Bears fans already know: this team is for real.

Both teams enter Week 7 at 4-2. The Bears are coming off a 31-23 victory over Atlanta in Williams' first game back from his hamstring injury, while New England has won three straight behind quarterback Drake Maye.

And with both teams playing on a short week, Thursday's game could come down to execution more than anything else.
