WWE Star Seth Rollins Lists 5 Reasons Caleb Williams Could Win MVP

WWE star Seth Rollins explains why Caleb Williams could win NFL MVP, pointing to the Bears’ offensive line, weapons, coaching and clutch play.

Chicago Bears fans aren’t the only ones buying into Caleb Williams heading into 2026.

During a recent appearance on Good Morning Football, WWE star Seth Rollins laid out a bold case for why Williams could be the NFL’s MVP this season.

Rollins pointed to five specific reasons that paint a pretty compelling picture.

The Offensive Line Is Built to Protect Him

Rollins started up front.

With Joe Thuney and Darnell Wright anchoring the line, the expectation is that Williams will feel even more comfortable in 2026 than he did in 2025.

Sure, the loss of center Drew Dalman will hurt. But the Bears acted quickly to land Garrett Bradbury, a perfectly fine replacement, to be the brain of the starting five.

If Caleb Williams' protection holds, there's no reason why he can't become the first 4,000-yard passer in franchise history in 2026.

The Bears’ Weapons Are Starting to Stack Up

There’s also no shortage of targets for Williams, even after the DJ Moore trade.

Rollins highlighted a young group that includes Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Colston Loveland, and Cole Kmet.

That’s a mix of size, speed, and versatility. It's exactly what you want around a quarterback entering a pivotal season who has as much talent as Williams, who's already proven he can be one of the league's most dynamic big-play passers.

Ben Johnson’s System Could Unlock Another Level

Rollins also pointed to Ben Johnson and the importance of Year 2 of his time with Caleb Williams.

Johnson has built a reputation as the brightest offensive mind in football, and the expectation is that his system will continue to elevate Williams beyond the jaw-dropping moments we witnessed in 2025.

That combination—scheme plus talent—tends to produce big numbers. And big numbers tend to elevate an MVP campaign.

A Tough Bears Schedule Could Help Williams' Case

The Bears aren’t sneaking up on anyone in 2026.

Matchups against quarterbacks like Trevor Lawrence, Jalen Hurts, and Josh Allen will put Williams on some of the biggest stages of the season.

If he plays well in those games, it won’t go unnoticed by MVP voters.

Caleb Williams' Clutch Factor Is Already There

The last point Seth Rollins made might be the most important.

Williams has already shown the ability to respond in big moments. He led some of the NFL's best comebacks in 2025 by extending plays and finding ways to win when chaos ensued around him.

That’s the kind of trait MVP voters remember.

Rollins isn’t alone in thinking Caleb Williams could take a jump in 2026. The pieces are there. The expectations are rising. Now it comes down to whether it all comes together on Sundays.
