Bears rule out Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III vs. Packers
The Chicago Bears will be without two of their best pass-catchers for Saturday's rematch with the Green Bay Packers.
We've got some bad news, Bears fans.
Chicago will be without two of their most important pass-catchers for Saturday's huge rematch with the Green Bay Packers.
Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III have both been ruled out:
Odunze was a late scratch last week after aggravating his foot injury in pregame warmups, while Burden injured his ankle late in the blowout win over the Cleveland Browns.
These absences will put a strain on Chicago's pass-catching depth for a massive game, and they'll need DJ Moore and the rest of the crew to step up.
This development will also put more pressure on quarterback Caleb Williams, as well as a ground game that has been stellar recently. If D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai can keep pulling their weight, the Bears should still have a strong chance to put up big numbers against a banged-up Packers defense.
