Bears get good news on injured LB Tremaine Edmunds
The Chicago Bears might get a key starter back in the lineup this week against the rival Green Bay Packers.
The Chicago Bears are getting some good injury news as they prepare for Week 16.
The 21-day practice window has been opened for linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, paving the way for his return from injured reserve:
Edmunds suffered a groin injury last month, but after missing four games, he's now eligible to return to the active roster.
The Bears are set to host the rival Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field on Saturday, looking for some revenge after last week's loss at Lambeau Field.
Getting Edmunds back in the starting lineup would be a huge boost for a defense that has been plagued by injuries all season long. Even with all the banged-up players, though, the Bears remain the NFL's leader in takeaways and turnover margin.
