The Chicago Bears have released their updated injury report for Week 14, and there have been both positive and negative developments.
Let's start with the bad news.
For the second straight day, wide receiver Rome Odunze and defensive back Tyrique Stevenson both missed practice Thursday. That was also the case for rookie linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II, while offensive lineman Joe Thuney got his typical rest day.
On the plus side, rookie running back Kyle Monangai was a limited participant Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice. Defensive back Jaylon Johnson was a full participant in practice for the second day in a row, as was linebacker Noah Sewell, among others.
Here's the official list from the team:
Odunze's status remains the most concerning, but Caleb Williams and the passing game have proven they can still be productive when he's not heavily involved. The ground game would get a huge boost if Monangai can be in the lineup Sunday.
This week's road test against the Green Bay Packers is critical for the Bears if they want to maintain their lead in the NFC North, as well as the top seed in the NFC playoff bracket. They'll need to be as healthy as possible to make that happen.
