Despite sporting an 8-3 record and standing alone in first place of the NFC North, the Chicago Bears are viewed as massive underdogs at home against the Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) in Friday's Black Friday showdown.
Perhaps some of that underdog narrative stems from the Bears' defense being decimated by injuries. All three linebackers missed Week 12's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon have missed the last several weeks with nagging ailments.
But fear not, Bears fans: reinforcements are on the way for Black Friday.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, both Johnson and Gordon will be back to face the Eagles' ever-dangerous offense.
Coordinator Dennis Allen's unit has been desperate for its top two cornerbacks. The Bears' defense ranks 27th in the NFL in points allowed per game and 21st in passing yards allowed per game.

With Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon back in the fold, the results on the field should be much improved.
