Bears injury report: Key defenders miss practice again Wednesday
See who missed practice again Wednesday as the Chicago Bears prepare for Friday night's road matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chicago Bears released their updated injury report for Week 13 on Wednesday, and a handful of defensive starters are still out of action.
Defensive back Tyrique Stevenson and linebacker T.J. Edwards both missed practice again Wednesday, as the Bears prepare for a huge Black Friday road matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The same was true for four others players who have yet to practice this week, including linebacker Noah Sewell.
On the plus side, a trio of key players were full participants Wednesday for the second day in a row. Defensive backs Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon could both be set to return from injured reserve, while rookie running back Kyle Monangai appears to be on pace to play this week.
Here's the official list from the team:
The magnitude of Friday night's game can't be overstated for the Bears, who have a chance to extend their four-game winning streak and prove themselves against the defending Super Bowl champs.
If they score a win and move to 9-3 on the season, the Bears would have the inside track to the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff bracket in Ben Johnson's first season as head coach.
