When the Chicago Bears replaced Matt Eberflus with Ben Johnson, hopes were high that Johnson could inspire a quick turnaround.

It looks like that's already happening, as the Bears currently sit atop the NFC North with a 7-3 record after another comeback win Sunday over the Minnesota Vikings.

With the win, Johnson already has more road wins as the Bears' head coach than Eberflus did:

There are probably a million ways to measure just how much better the Bears are right now under Johnson than they ever were under Eberflus. The offense is obviously in a much better place with Johnson leading Caleb Williams and company, and they've proven they can find ways to win close games.

We still have a lot of season left to go in 2025, but the early returns suggest that Johnson was exactly the massive upgrade fans were hoping he would be in the offseason.
