One of the key parts of the blockbuster trade the Chicago Bears made to trade down from the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft was acquiring wide receiver DJ Moore from the Carolina Panthers.
Moore has been a huge boost to Chicago's offense since arriving, using his versatility and big-play ability to jump-start unit that was struggling to create explosive plays.
New head coach Ben Johnson is a huge fan of Moore, telling the media this week that even Moore's attitude and approach to the game is of significant value to the locker room:
The Bears are putting up impressive numbers on offense so far this season, and Moore continues to be a huge part of their success. Whether he's catching touchdown passes, or throwing them, or running them in, there's always a high chance of putting points on the board when Moore touches the ball.
Combining his on-field value with his presence as a teammate and leader, it's clear the Bears have something special in this veteran pass-catcher.
