The Chicago Bears (2-2) haven't played their Week 6 game yet, but they're already favored in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints.

Perhaps it’s because of how bad the Saints have been in 2025. Or, maybe it's because the Bears have finally entered a tier of teams that Bears fans aren't used to experiencing in recent years.

No, I’m not suggesting that Chicago is considered one of the best teams in the NFL. Far from it.

But in the past, a game like Week 7's matchup against the Saints wouldn't necessarily have been viewed as a layup for the Chicago Bears, either.

Chicago is currently a six-point favorite, according to the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.

Yeah, you read that right.

A lot can change between now and kickoff. If the Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams lay an egg Monday night against the Washington Commanders, you can expect that spread to shrink quite a bit.

However, New Orleans is... bad.

The Saints are coming off a 25-19 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday, but have been a pretty feisty team in recent weeks. Spencer Rattler is playing better over the last couple of games (don't tell that to @FirstRoundMock), and the Saints' defense remains a solid group.

But you are what your record says you are. And the Saints are 1-5.

We'll update these odds once Week 6 concludes.
