Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams knows that women's sports is growing exponentially, and now he's investing in that bright future.
Williams is now part of the ownership group for Boston Legacy FC, a new team set to begin play next season.
Last year's No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, Williams is excited about being a part of this huge movement in women's sports:
Founded in 2012, the NWSL (National Women's Soccer League) currently has 14 clubs, but will expand to 16 next year, when Boston Legacy FC and Denver Summit FC are set to join the league.
With more well-known figures like Williams continuing to invest in the future of these teams, it's safe to say the growth we've seen in women's sports in recent years won't be stopping anytime soon.
