Chicago Bears Week 16 Inactives: Here's Who's Out vs. Detroit Lions (News)

Chicago Tribune

The Chicago Bears are big underdogs in Week 16's NFC North clash against the Detroit Lions. At 4-10 and nothing but their offseason vacations left to play for, the Bears will do their best to play spoiler against a Lions team that's in the mix for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

The Bears' upset attempt will get a boost from the return of left tackle Braxton Jones, who missed Week 15's loss to the Minnesota Vikings with a concussion. Jones was replaced in that game by rookie third-round pick Kiran Amegadjie, who was downright brutal in his NFL debut. It's no coincidence that Amegadjie is inactive against Detroit.

The one key inactive for the Bears on Sunday is defensive lineman Gervon Dexter, who will miss his second game in a row with a knee injury.

The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions will kick off from Soldier Field on Sunday at noon CST.
