RB Royce Freeman signed to practice squad.
The Bears added Ford to the active roster after placing DeAndre Carter on injured reserve. Running back Royce Freeman, a one-time Draft Twitter favorite after a quality college career at Oregon, was added to the practice squad.
Back-to-back impressive plays by DT Jonathan Ford (#99). He's much better now than he was two years ago. He's one of the few Packers who might get claimed off waivers if released next Tuesday. pic.twitter.com/RpFEECsSaC

Ford has yet to make an impact in the NFL. He spent the last two seasons on Green Bay's practice squad. But with the Bears' defensive line getting shredded against the run in recent weeks, he'll have an opportunity to prove he belongs in the team's plans in 2025.
