The Chicago Bears made a handful of roster moves this week, including signing former Green Bay Packers draft pick, DL Jonathan Ford.

Ford was a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The former Miami Hurricane brings size and beef to the Bears' defensive line, standing 6'5' and 333 pounds.

The Bears added Ford to the active roster after placing DeAndre Carter on injured reserve. Running back Royce Freeman, a one-time Draft Twitter favorite after a quality college career at Oregon, was added to the practice squad.

Ford has yet to make an impact in the NFL. He spent the last two seasons on Green Bay's practice squad. But with the Bears' defensive line getting shredded against the run in recent weeks, he'll have an opportunity to prove he belongs in the team's plans in 2025.
