Sounds like CB Jaylon Jones (shoulder) will likely head to injured reserve. That's a tough blow as Jones has been very good on special teams this season.
According to Chicago Tribune Bears insider Brad Biggs, Speed's promotion is likely because cornerback Jaylon Jones is heading to injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
There was even worse news on the injury front, as defensive lineman Andrew Billings was placed on injured reserve with a torn pec. His season is likely over.
