These 4 Bears earned game balls following Chicago's Week 4 win over Rams (News)

After four weeks of NFL action, the Chicago Bears are right where many expected them to be: 2-2.

After losing a winnable game against the Colts in Week 3, the Bears responded at home with an impressive win over the Rams, 24-18. Not only is that nearly the exact score I predicted in my 'keys to victory,' but it also marks Chicago's seventh straight home win, the longest active streak in the NFL.

With the win in mind, let's hand out some game balls.

D'Andre Swift

Last week, I said the D'Andre Swift experiment is over and that the Bears would be better off making him a healthy scratch. On Sunday, he went out and put up 165 total scrimmage yards and a touchdown. He was a key part of this offense, and he deserves this game ball.

Swift must prove he can consistently produce for the Bears like this. Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, but three times would prove that he's worth his contract. This game is one down, two to go.

Caleb Williams

Another solid day at the office for the rookie. Williams didn't stuff the stat sheet like last week, but he completed 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 157 yards, a 74% completion rate, one touchdown, and most importantly, no turnovers. He also became the first quarterback drafted first overall two win his first two home games in NFL history.

Williams finished this game with a 106.6 passer rating, his best yet.

Tory Taylor

It's time to give the punter his flowers. After much grumbling from some fans and analysts about drafting a punter in the fourth round, Taylor put on an absolute clinic when he was called upon against the Rams. By flipping the field and forcing the Rams to begin drives from the shadows of their own goalposts, he played an integral part in securing this win.

Gervon Dexter Sr.

It feels like every week there's multiple defenders that I'd like to honor with a game ball, but I'm going with Gervon Dexter. He tallied another sack today, his third on the season, and came close on a couple more. He's been a one-man wrecking crew all season long, which has greatly raised both the floor and ceiling for this unit.

Honorable Mentions

Montez Sweat, for a strip-sack that set up the Bears' first touchdown of the game, and Jaquan Brisker, for the game sealing interception and a sack of his own.
