The biggest win the Chicago Bears may have had in Week 1 was rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze avoiding a serious knee injury.

Bears coach Matt Eberflus confirmed Wednesday that Odunze is day-to-day after spraining his MCL.

"It's nothing serious," Eberflus said.

Odunze won't participate in practice today but could be good to go for Sunday night's showdown against the Tennessee Titans. Meanwhile, veteran receiver Keenan Allen will miss practice Wednesday as he rests his sore heel. He should be ready for Week 2.

The Chicago Bears selected Rome Odunze with the ninth pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He finished Week 1 with one catch for 11 yards in the Bears' 24-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
