Chicago Bears coach Matt Eberflus confirmed Thursday that healthy starters -- including Caleb Williams -- will playing Saturday's Week 1 preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.
While Eberflus wouldn't commit to how many snaps Williams will play, he said the the team wants to see a "good flow and rhythm" to the offense.
The first preseason game can't come soon enough for Caleb Williams, who had a rougher-than-usual practice Thursday.
If Williams comes out firing on the first (and maybe second?) drive of the game, any concerns noted by some of the infamously negative Bears beat reporters will be squashed.
For Bears fans, news of Chicago's first-teamers getting reps will make for a great Saturday afternoon.
