It's never too early to look ahead to next year's NFL draft, and we've got a fresh 2025 mock draft to digest from Pro Football Network.

This early first-round projection has the Chicago Bears bolstering their defensive line with Ohio State's Tyleik Williams at the No. 19 overall pick.

"A highly versatile defensive lineman, Tyleik Williams has experience lining up across the defensive front," writes PFN's Owain Jones. "With high intelligence, a non-stop motor, and an explosive first step, the Buckeyes’ DT has the skillset of a first-round prospect. With top-end strength, Williams overpowers opponents, and if he can be more consistent in retaining leverage and countering, he can rocket up draft boards."

Even after spending multiple early picks in recent drafts to upgrade the interior of their defensive line, it still wouldn't be shocking to see the Bears add even more talent to that unit with their top pick next year. Williams could have been a fairly early pick in the 2024 draft, but another year of polish and experience should allow him to make an even bigger impact right away in 2025.
