Just a few years ago, the Chicago Bears spent a first-round draft pick on a potential franchise quarterback in Justin Fields, but failed to surround him with the supporting cast necessary for him to reach his potential.
Now that Fields has been replaced by Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick in this year's NFL draft, the Bears are determined not to make the same mistake.
The Bears have been aggressive throughout the offseason when it comes to building out the rest of their roster around Williams, making big additions to every unit on offense.
How much of an impact will those new additions make for Williams and the Bears this season?
ESPN's "NFL Live" crew broke it down:
Given what the Bears have done to improve their roster (and their coaching staff) this offseason, don't be surprised if Williams is able to reach his lofty potential, and take Chicago along with him as they finally return to playoff contention in the near future.
