The Chicago Bears not only landed a new franchise quarterback with No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams, but they also grabbed another elite prospect in the top 10 with wide receiver Rome Odunze, the No. 9 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
Odunze is one of the most polished and pro-ready prospects in this year's class, but the Bears also have a pair of experienced veterans in D.J. Moore and the recently acquired Keenan Allen, so how soon will the rookie be able to make a significant impact?
Appearing on "The Rich Eisen Show," NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah made it clear that Odunze should be able to make an instant splash for the Bears, particularly in the red zone:
Even if Odunze doesn't see a ton of targets as a rookie, he should still make the most of his red-zone opportunities because of his particular skill set, which could lead to some impressive touchdown numbers in his first NFL season.
