Pro Football Focus shared their pre-2024 NFL Draft NFC Power Rankings on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, and the Chicago Bears ranked shockingly high.
Out of the 16 teams in the conference, PFF has the Bears 10th.
Perhaps that's what happens when you're on the cusp of drafting Caleb Williams, one of the top quarterback prospects to enter the NFL since Andrew Luck.

Williams is only part of the story, however. The Bears were 5-3 over the second half of the 2023 season and could've easily won two (or three?) more games if not for lacking a finisher's mentality. But that's what happens with young teams (and young coaching staffs).
With a full season of Montez Sweat and offseason additions like Keenan Allen and D'Andre Swift, the Chicago Bears arrow is pointing straight up. When factoring Caleb Williams into the mix, it's hard not to envision this club as a likely NFC wild-card team.
