ESPN's Field Yates and Mel Kiper Jr. just released a new three-round 2024 NFL Mock Draft. That means three picks (No. 1, 9, 75) were made for the Bears. In the first round, Kiper Jr. and Yates selected USC quarterback Caleb Williams and Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze, sending a new dynamic pass-catching duo to Chicago.

"Caleb Williams is the best quarterback in this class, and the Bears need a franchise passer to build around," Kiper wrote. That's straightforward enough for our liking. The Bears will soon make Williams their new franchise quarterback.
Kiper again made the Bears' selection at No. 9, drafting Odunze to pair with Williams.
"I love this fit with Williams, though I thought about an offensive lineman or edge rusher too," Kiper admitted. "Odunze could be a star. This is how Chicago can set up Williams to succeed as a rookie."
Despite Kiper and Yates alternating, Kiper was once again on the clock for the Bears' third-round selection at No. 75. He drafted Yale offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie, whom the Bears recently hosted at Halas Hall for a pre-draft visit.
"Amegadjie played just four games last season after tearing his quad muscle in October, but he has intriguing traits in a 6-foot-5 frame. I thought about an edge rusher for the Bears, but there aren't many likely to play early in this range. I'd rather take a flier on Amegadjie."
Amegadjie would immediately contend with Braxton Jones to be the Bears' starting left tackle in 2024. General manager Ryan Poles intends to add competition to that position. Amegedjie would be a welcome addition to the Bears via a third-round selection.
