The Chicago Bears are entering the 2024 NFL Draft in search of pass rushers to pair with Montez Sweat. Bears general manager Ryan Poles may target an EDGE defender with the No. 9 overall selection, but there's talent located throughout all seven rounds. With Chicago's specific draft capital in mind, we've identified four pass rushing prospects, including an undrafted free-agent type, the Bears should target in the 2024 NFL Draft.
FIRST ROUND (NO. 9) | DALLAS TURNER | ALABAMA
Dallas Turner projects as Sweat's ideal running mate. He should be considered the hands-on favorite for the Bears to draft at No. 9. A rare athlete, Turner ran a 4.48 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. Turner's 40.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-7 broad jump displayed lower-body explosion. Turner recorded a career-high 11 sacks for Alabama this past season. He possesses the physical tools to develop into a consistently impactful edge defender.
THIRD ROUND (NO. 75) | ADISA ISAAC | PENN STATE
Penn State has a first-round hopeful edge defender in Chop Robinson, but Adisa Isaac is an intriguing prospect who played opposite him. Isaac possesses moldable traits with nearly 34-inch arms and 4.7 speed. Isaac's best football is ahead of him. His developmental traits could pique Poles' interest.
FOURTH ROUND (NO. 122) | AUSTIN BOOKER | KANSAS
Austin Booker was extremely impressive at this year's Senior Bowl. A transfer from Minnesota to Kansas ahead of the 2023 campaign, Booker took advantage of an expanded role by recording a career-high 8.0 sacks for the Jayhawks. Booker pairs ideal length with explosive first-step quickness to give opposing offensive tackles fits.
UDFA | ANTONIO ALFANO | LACKAWANNA
Once the No. 1 rated high school recruit in 2019, Antonio Alfano's rollercoaster journey took him from Alabama to Lackawanna Junior College following a battle with epilepsy. Alfano was extremely productive while playing JUCO this past season. On April 12th, Alfano will host a Pro Day-like workout for all 32 NFL franchises.
