The Chicago Bears will host Notre Dame cornerback Cam Hart on an in-person visit. Hart confirmed the upcoming meeting in a recent interview with The Draft Network. Hart doesn't count as a "top 30" visit due to the local connection between the Bears and Notre Dame. Hart will do everything a "top 30" visit does, including visit the facility, go through defensive plays, submit to a medical, etc. The Bears are wisely taking advantage of a rule to get an excellent cornerback prospect inside their facility.

Hart is a scheme-versatile 6-foot-3, 202-pound cornerback who performed well at this year’s Senior Bowl. Hart, who has 33-inch arms to disrupt the catch point, continued his impressive pre-draft showing with an eye-opening showing at the NFL Combine. Hart leaped a 39.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-10 broad jump in Indianapolis.

Hart utilizes length and size to disrupt timing in press-man coverage at the line of scrimmage. The Fighting Irish defense spent most of their time in Cover 1 coverage shells. Hart recorded 19 passes defensed and two interceptions at Notre Dame.

The Bears possess three excellent cornerbacks heading into the 2024 campaign after re-signing Jaylon Johnson to a multi-year extension. Tyrique Stevenson thrived as a rookie, and Kyler Gordon also plays a pivotal role in the defensive backfield. Poles has consistently added to the cornerback room throughout his time as Chicago's chief decision maker though.

Hart is clearly a prospect that appeals to the Bears.
