The Chicago Bears are officially on the clock for the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Carolina Panthers' loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, coupled with the Arizona Cardinals upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, have clinched the first overall pick for the Bears.

It's an incredible turn of events for GM Ryan Poles, who traded the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft to the Panthers for wide receiver DJ Moore and their 2024 first-rounder (along with a slew of other valuable draft assets).

As for DJ Moore? He's enjoying a career year in Chicago.

Quarterback will dominate the Chicago Bears 2024 NFL draft discussion with USC's Caleb Williams and North Carolina's Drake Maye both viewed as blue-chip franchise quarterback prospects.

But Justin Fields is doing his part to silence any quarterback questions. He's finishing the 2023 season on a high note, including a fantastic performance in Week 17 against the Atlanta Falcons.

If the Bears decide to stick with Fields and trade the first overall pick again, there's no doubt the haul they'll receive this year will make the Panthers trade laughable.

Similarly, the Bears could decide to keep the pick and select Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison, who's widely regarded as the best pass-catcher to enter the NFL in a long time.

It's a good day to be a Chicago Bears fan.
