The Chicago Bears added competition to their secondary by selecting Miami cornerback Tyrique Stevenson in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
General manager Ryan Poles traded up from No. 61 to 56 to ensure he landed the Hurricanes' defensive back. Stevenson, a former top-50 national high school recruit, started 25 games for Miami and will bring a good blend of size, speed, and explosive athleticism to the defense and special teams.
