The Houston Texans' shocking Week 18 victory over the Indianapolis Colts cost them the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, but it might not prevent them from picking first and selecting Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.

According to NFL.com's Lance Zierlein, the Texans are a good bet to trade up to the No. 1 pick to ensure they don't miss out on Young. It's a prediction that didn't have as much confidence a few weeks ago as it does now, and with the NFL Combine kicking off next week, there's a good chance we'll hear more about the teams preparing to offer the Chicago Bears a bounty of picks for the first selection.

Check out how confident Zierlein is with his prediction that a Bears-Texans trade will happen.

A Bears-Texans trade would be ideal scenario for GM Ryan Poles

The Texans would be a great trade partner for the Bears. Not only would a deal with Houston only require Chicago to slide back one spot, but it could also result in the Bears grabbing the No. 12 overall pick as well. And there's always a chance a 2024 first-rounder could be in the mix.

Better yet? The Chicago Bears could swing another trade from No. 2 to No. 4 with the Indianapolis Colts, who may panic once Young comes off the board with the first pick.

Get your popcorn ready, Bears fans. It's going to be a wild ride.
