David Carr says Justin Fields is a Pro Bowl sleeper
NFL Network's David Carr called Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields a Pro Bowl sleeper now that the 2021 first-rounder is heating up over...
What a difference a month makes.
For Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields, the last four weeks have flipped his second season in the NFL from a worrisome letdown to a record-setting stretch of electric performances.
In fact, Fields' hot streak has him in the discussion for the 2022 Pro Bowl, according to NFL.com's David Carr.
"Fields" talent and big playmaking ability have been on display over the last few weeks," Justin Fields has done most of his damage as a runner, including 178 rushing yards in Week 9. It's the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a regular-season game in NFL history. He followed up that historic game with 147 rushing yards against the Lions in Week 10. Fields has been strong as a passer, too. He's thrown seven touchdownd to just one interception over the last three games. As he develops that part of his game, there's truly no limit to how dynamic he can be. Call it a hunch, but there will be many Pro Bowls in Justin Fields" future, even if he doesn't crack the squad in 2022.
