Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is off to a blazing start in his second NFL season, leading the league with five touchdown receptions through the first four games of the year.
That strong start has Odunze thinking big when it comes to what he's capable of in the stat sheet in 2025, and there's a lofty NFL record in his sights.
Appearing on "The Rich Eisen Show," Odunze admitted that he wants to go after the single-season record for touchdown receptions:
Hall of Famer Randy Moss set the current mark with 23 touchdown grabs back in 2007, when he was catching deep balls from the GOAT, Tom Brady.
Even with his impressive start, Odunze will have to keep up a ridiculous pace if he wants to haul in 19 more scores over the remaining 13 games of the season. But kudos to him for aiming high, as the entire Bears franchise should be with their new coaching staff and a wealth of talent and potential on both sides of the ball.
