EA Sports began releasing the player ratings for Madden 25 on Monday, starting with wide receivers and safeties. Chicago Bears fans should be happy to see that three of their players cracked the Top 15 in both position groups.
Kevin Byard ranks as the 7th-best safety in the game with an 89, while Keenan Allen and DJ Moore are the 12th and 13th highest-rated receivers with ratings of 90 and 89, respectively.

It's nice to see Bears players getting some well-earned recognition from EA Sports, but DJ Moore's rating still feels low. He set career highs in a season with up-and-down quarterback play, going for over 1,300 yards and nine total touchdowns. I think he should have been included in the 90-club, but instead, he was only awarded a three-point increase from last year's version of the game.

The rest of Chicago's receivers and safeties seem fairly rated. Jaquan Brisker checks in with a respectable 83, Tyler Scott is rated at 72, and rookie receiver Rome Odunze gets a 76. For comparison, fellow rookie receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers received ratings of 79 and 77, respectively, so Odunze is right there with them at the top of their class.
And for Bears fans who might care, former fan-favorite Darnell Mooney is a 77, a four-point demotion from last year's game.
