The Chicago Bears drafted a bunch of high-level athletes throughout the 2024 NFL Draft. Wide receiver Rome Odunze, selected at No. 9 overall, highlights the class of athletes being welcomed to Chicago for the 2024 season. The combined average Relative Athletic Score for the Bears' 2024 rookie class is a stellar  8.470/10, ranking seventh across the league. Let's take a look at each individual player.

CALEB WILLIAMS

Caleb Williams unfortunately did not qualify for an RAS score as a result of his non-participation at the NFL Combine and USC's Pro Day. It doesn't take a scientist to see that Williams was a high-level athlete on tape, however. His dual-threat abilities is partially why the Bears selected him at No. 1 overall. The athleticism Williams displayed on tape made it so he didn't need to test athletically throughout the process.

ROME ODUNZE

Rome Odunze is the most exciting athlete drafted by the Bears. While fellow elite receiver prospects like Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers declined to test at the NFL Combine, Odunze showcased his competitive spirit. Odunze ran an elite 4.45 40-yard dash with splits of 2.57 and 1.54 at 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds. Odunze also leaped a 39 inch vertical, and ran a 4.03 shuttle, totaling a RAS score of 9.92/10.

KIRAN AMEGADJIE

Like Williams, Amegadjie did not qualify for an RAS score due to incomplete testing scores. But the towering 6-foot-5, 323 pound blocker features 36 inch arms and an 85.5 inch wingspan. Those measurables place in the 95th and 94th percentile among all offensive tackles historically according to MockDraftable.

TORY TAYLOR

Like most punters, Tory Taylor does not qualify for an RAS score. The former Iowa field-flipper does possess terrific size at 6-foot-3 and 229 pounds. He's an absolute unit in punters terms. Taylor set all-time punt total and yardage records at Iowa. In 2023, Taylor set the NCAA 85-year-old single-season yardage record, recording 4,479 yards via 93 punts.

AUSTIN BOOKER

Bears general manager Ryan Poles traded back into the draft to select former Kansas edge defender Austin Booker. Booker exploded to record a career-high 8.0 sacks this season after transferring to the program from Minnesota. Booker is an above-average athlete who ran a 4.79 40-yard dash and leaped a 10-foot broad jump.
